AURORA, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 1, 2018) - On September 28, 2018 at about 3:00 PM, one Pastor Romeo O.
Labongray together with one Cresencio Tanghal Jr. y Balucan, 42 years old, with
live-in partner, backhoe operator of Rudhil Construction & Ent., Inc.,
without pertinent document presented and a resident of Purok San Roque, Brgy.
Waterfall, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur, voluntarily surrender to Aurora MPS after
his driven heavy equipment (backhoe) engaged an accident at Brgy. Inasagan,
Aurora. Zamboanga Del Sur.
Accordingly, the driver of the backhoe
(Cresencio) alleged that due to the rainfall he stops working, one single
motorcycle with three riders accidentally hit the bucket of his driven heavy
equipment (backhoe) and the riders who sustained serious injuries were
immediately brought to Aurora Community Emergency (ACE) hospital located at
Brgy. Cabilinan, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed
that on or about 2:30pm of September 28, 2018, one Honda XRM, color
black/white, bearing plate no. JA 44868, without OR & CR, driven by one
Elizer Englisa y Alipan, 45 years old, married, (habal-habal) driver, without
driver’s license and a resident of Sitio Lovers lane, Brgy. San Jose this
municipality.
The motorcycle with two passengers
identified as:
Ciela Tariman y
Englis, 41 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Purok Assumption, Brgy.
Inasagan, Aurora, ZDS and
Myriel Quiño y Tariman,
1 year old and 7 months.
They were travelling from Brgy.
Poblacion going to the aforesaid place. However, upon reaching at Purok
Asuncion, Brgy. Inasagan, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur the single motorcycle
accidentally met an accident.
As result hereof, the passengers Ciela
and Myriel sustained head and body injury then were pronounced dead on arrival
by the attending physician at the aforesaid hospital.
After an hour the driver of the single
motorcycle (Elizer) who sustained injury on his arm, head and shoulder was also
pronounced dead by the attending physician.
The single motorcycle Honda XRM
incurred damage on the left side cover and was brought to this office while the
backhoe was left at the place of incident due to unavailability of cargo truck
to transport the said heavy equipment going Aurora MPS.
Further, upon arrival of the responding
team at the place of incident the single motorcycle and the backhoe were
already moved from the original position.
Aurora MPS is still conducting in-depth
investigation relative to the incident.
