Jobless Arrested for illegal Drugs

AURORA, ZamboSur (June 25, 2018) - PNP elements of Aurora MPS and Zamboanga Del Sur PPO arrested one person involved in illegal drugs during the conduct of joint Drug buy-bust operation at Purok Angela, Brgy San Jose, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur at about 12:40 PM of June 23, 2018.

Police identified the arrested person as Cloyd Ceniza Y Quiño aka “Pokloy”, 37 years old, single with live-in partner, jobless and a resident at Purok Anahaw, Brgy. Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur.

The operating trrops confiscated from the possession and control of the suspect are the following:

One piece of heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu (buy bust) and

One piece of five hundred (500.00) peso bill.

Aurora MPS are readying cases for Violation of Section 5 and 11 of Article II of RA 9165 for filing in court against the suspect.

A female Shot to death in Aurora

AURORA, Zamboanga del Sur (June 25, 2018) – A female was shot to death by unidentified person, the Shooting incident transpired at Purok Jaso, Barangay Monte Alegre, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 12:30 PM of June 24, 2018.

Investigator on-case PO2 Marjuhn L Labiaga identified the victim as Luz Yabo y Taghap, 61 years old, married, housewife, and resident of the above-mentioned place, she was shot to death by an unidentified suspect using undetermined caliber of firearm.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was shot to death by unidentified male person/s outside the residence of Marfelina Sumampong y Yabo, the victim’s sister-in-law.

Right after the incident, suspect/s on board a red XRM single motorcycle proceeded towards the direction of crossing Monte Alegre, Aurora, PO2 Labiaga said.

He said, the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the different parts of her body which resulted to her untimely death.

Reponding police recovered from the crime scene were five empty shells of Cal .45 pistol and one fired bullet. Motive of the incident is still to be determined.

Aurora MPS is still conducting a thorough investigation for possible identification of the suspects and to determine the motive of the incident.

Stabbing Incident in Aurora

AURORA, Zamboanga del Sur (June 10, 2018) – On June 09, 2018 at about 11:00 PM, stabbing incident transpired at Sitio Bliss, Barangay Balide, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur.

The victim identified as Jiepfhree Cabahug Pitogo, 34 years old, and resident of Purok Madasigon, Barangay Romarate, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur.

The suspect identified as Romeo Cañete Mondido a.k.a. “Meo”, 42 years old, and resident of Purok Sta. Maria, Barangay Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur.

Investigation conducted disclosed that both victim and suspect with other friends were having a drinking session at the place of incident and heated argument ensured resulted to a fist fight, the suspect got a knife and stabbed the victim hitting at the left ribs and incised wound on his right palm.

The responding PNP personnel of Aurora MPS arrested the Suspect and now presently detained at said station. Investigator is PO2 Marjuhn L. Labiaga, with cellphone number 09213041768.

Robbery Suspect Nabbed in Aurora

On June 4, 2018 at about 9:30 AM, Joint operation of Aurora MPS together with the Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Intelligence Branch conducted service of warrant at Bus Terminal, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur.

The operation resulted to the arrest of Ronil C Tabamo, 30 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Purok 5, Barangay Sicpao, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur.

Said wanted person arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Robbery with criminal case number 18-10-1515 issued by Hon. Judge Analyn Ramas Costanilla, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur dated on April 19, 2018.

With Bail bond recommended amounted to Forty Thousand Pesos (40,000.00).

Accused is now temporarily detained at Aurora MPS while waiting for final adjudication from the court.

Fisherman Arrested for Indiscriminate Firing

On June 02, 2018 at about 8:00 PM, Aurora MPS received a cellphone call from the Barangay Chairman of Barangay Balas, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur informing that they arrested subject person of Felix Ocaña Jr. Coronel, aka Dodong, 40 years old, married, fisherman and a resident of Purok Pantalan, Barangay Balas, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur. The arrested person was fired his gun at the above mentioned place.

Upon receipt of the said information, PNP team of Aurora MPS proceeded to Barangay Lintugop, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur purposely to fetched the suspect.

Barangay Kagawad Danny Arcangel y Saquin together with his two CVOs turned over the subject person to the responding PNP personnel of Aurora MPS and turned over the one (1) unit of caliber .38 revolver Smith and Wesson without serial number loaded with four (4) live ammunition, one (1) empty shell and holster colored green.

The arrested subject person is now under the custody of Aurora MPS for proper disposition.
